- Truth selling so good because is such a GOOD song, one of my favs now, and u can see why this song is selling so well, i was yesterday studying and Truth song was playing on the background music of that room (how much i love background music at home <3), my sister came and say: "OHhhhhhh I love this song SO much!!" ...and she is not an Arashi fan xD (she just bites YamaP sometimes xD)
- Today's HnA, berrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry good! (dorky mood), can't wait to next ep with haunted house, bad thing is I don't like those monsters who was at the end of the preview (some kind of japanese Dolly Parton? XD i still remember when they went to Shuku......EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW). Boys called Shochan! And at first was talking just Aiba, nihao this nihao the other XD....and when i was going to complain..............................JingJing talking with HuanHuan!!! DIES (and yes is how i call them now <3, the cute pair of Olympic mascots!). Jun was chooo cute in this ep, (even though was lunch time so couldn't watch everything xD), but....he was happy holding a squid....and suddenly: "Itai Itai Itaiiiii!" how cuteeeeeeeeeeee hahahaha the squid bited him! But then...omg...I couldn't believe it......................................................he ate it while it was still alive! ewwwwwwwwwwwww, okay now i just could kiss nino or ohno aiya T__T xDDDDDDD (because Sho ate once in shuku a frog's arm and Aiba a poor bird *not alive of course*) but for me is ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww xDD
- Bf is such a Maou fanboy! Asking me for subs, "are subs out yet?" ...."are them?" ....and yes he's waiting for ep 9 excited xDDD. Sure he'll like Nino's drama as well.
- Tomorrow we'll start our 24hrs....is tough for us too....Our boys will be (according to what Jen said *sankiu dear <3*) the whole day promoting.....(heeheheheheheheh thanks god i've got my mail XD)
- Today's 24hrs report was about Nino, and Zero Culture about Ohchan who's gonna support a really big artist who paints with his mouth (and really i was amazed how awesome drawings and paintings he makes O.O), and................guess who said CHIKAI with 24hrs tv t-shirt?!!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!??!?! WILL SMITH!!!!!!!! OMFG, i screamed!! hahahahaha was so unexpected (sure was there to promote Hancock xD), is now when i wished that t-shirt was designed by our Oh-chan TT_TT xDDDDDD. And and and! Who's gonna help in 24hrs tv?! .............Yuya~~~!! (Tegoshi Yuya from NewS), that could mean that next year will be NewS supporting 24hrs tv?.hmmmmmmmmmmmmm....

It was really enjoyable and fun to watch! Although I thought the comedians were abit extra xp
The boys went on a summer vacation without Sho who was away at Beijing Olympics
They did not forget about Sho though, the boys bought omiyage for him wherever they went, very sweet of them
One part was when they were looking at the seafood, they said アサリ is Sho's favourite, must buy back for him XD
They had the musical chairs to decide who will not be able to eat the food
BBQ time, Nino missed out from the eating, only had 2 pathetic onigiri
but he was so cute!! when the others were eating, he sat alone practising his magic
2nd part of the trip was to go fishing
Jun got bitten by ika XD
He took revenge by eating it live XDD
The boys called Sho halfway though the trip
Aiba-chan said "Ni hao, ni hao" and Sho replied the same in return, their conversation so cute!
Next was eating pizza, this time it was Leader who cant eat....poor him
Last is the yakiniku
Ohshima Miyuki was there
The funny part is I think she wanted to sit on Jun's lap instead of the chair though
Suits her better desho? instead of eating the meat XDD
Next week will be the interesting and funny episode!

４６．７万枚で今年最高の初動（発売１週目）売り上げを記録。６月発売の「Ｏｎｅ Ｌｏｖｅ」が今年のシングル累計売り上げ１位（４９．２万枚）に立っており、“初動”と“累計”の今年のシングル２冠となった。
また、同アルバムランキングは安室奈美恵（３０）の「ＢＥＳＴ ＦＩＣＴＩＯＮ」が４週連続１位。今年の最長記録を達成した。

２４日、北京五輪閉幕とともに、嵐の櫻井翔（２６）も日本テレビ系北京五輪中継メーンキャスターを終える。初めて五輪取材を振り返り「北京にずっといられたことが一番の思い出。充実感や感動の連続でしたが、伝えるという意味では、こういう言い方をすれば良かったかなと毎日反省しない日はなかったです」と話した。
印象に残ったのは「ウサイン・ボルト選手の２００メートル世界新を目の前で見て、その後に言葉をもらえたことです」。レース後、取材エリアを歩くボルトを手で制し、コメントをキャッチしたが、それまで突撃取材に関しては苦戦続き。試合前のダルビッシュ有には会釈だけ。大勢の取材陣に囲まれた競泳８冠のマイケル・フェルプスには近づくこともできなかった。同局スペシャルリポーターの明石家さんまには「報道リポーターとしては失敗」と突っ込まれた。

■2008年シングル「初動売上」「累積売上」の2冠達成
嵐の通算23枚目のシングル「truth／風の向こうへ」が発売1週目（初動）で46.7万枚を売上げ、9/1付シングルランキングでダントツで初登場1位を獲得した。今回の初動売上は、5月発売のKAT-TUN「DON’T U EVER STOP」の38.2万枚を上回る2008年シングル最高記録で、累積売上枚数でもいきなり08年年間2位に躍り出るメガヒット。ちなみに1位も嵐の作品「One Love」（6月発売）で、早くも今年2冠を達成した。
08年シングルの累積売上枚数のトップも嵐が6月に発売した「One Love」（49.2万枚）で、現時点で08年の「初動売上」「累積売上」のシングル2冠を達成。人気はさらに拍車がかかり、まさに向かうところ敵なしの独走状態となっている。
■デビュー曲「A・RA・SHI」以来、実に8年10ヶ月ぶりの初動40万枚突破
シングルの初動40万枚突破は、2006年12月発売のKAT-TUN「僕らの街で」（初動41.0万枚）以来、1年9ヶ月ぶり。嵐にとっては、1999年11月のデビューシングル「A・RA・SHI」（55.7万枚）以来、実に8年10ヶ月ぶりとなった。
同作は彼らにとって実に4年ぶりの両A面シングルで、リーダーの大野智が主演するTBS系ドラマ『魔王』の主題歌「truth」、櫻井翔がメインキャスターを務めた日本テレビ系『北京オリンピック』テーマソングの「風の向こうへ」を収録している。
